Double, Double

It's very rare that I go shopping. I only shop for new clothes every season. Ok! quarterly (since we don't have four seasons here in the Philippines). I am very picky when it comes to clothes, and when I shop, I'm like a freak! I buy shirt (tops) in twos or sometimes even threes and rarely in fours. Yes, one type or style of a shirt in different color or pattern. I'm like buying uniform. It's just that I have this difficulty finding clothes that really fits well, flatters my body type, highlights my assets (LOL! =P), and hides my imperfections (yup, fats! tummy! beer belly! what ever you wanna call it), suits my lifestyle, matches with my existing wardrobe, and meets my standards or taste. whewww! I have this (nasty) habit of collecting or acquiring things of the same kind but of different varieties. It is eminent in my Stamp and Coin Collections.

Here's my shirts that comes in two or more colors:

Polo Shirt

Plaid shirts from edge

from American Eagle Outfitters

Diadora Shirts

Sometimes, I shop like a maniac. I bought Hollister shirts in four colors. Yes, f-o-u-r (4). You might be asking where's the fourth shirt. It comes in gray. No, I am not wearing it when I'm taking this photos. I gave it to Dad. One time, I went to Daet, Camarines Norte - my hometown for a couple of days. He asked me if I can give it to him. He thinks it so "it" and "hip". I said yes. And let him choose what color he wants. I noticed in the past couple of years that he likes my clothes and he always asks me "Ang ganda nyan ah...Bago yan no?...Siguro mahal yan?" ("that's a nice shirt...is that new?...I bet that's expensive"). I know what he means by that. He wants one. Hahaha. And he knows thats I buy shirts in different colors. I suspect my Dad is experiencing mid-life crisis. He's now in his early forties. In fact today is his Birthday. Happy Birthday Dad! Thank you for teaching me how to prep myself at an early age, tying my shoe laces, and how to dress properly in different occasions. Thank you for always being there for us and thank you for loving Mama so dearly. Again, Happy Birthday Papa.
