Kermit Tesoro partners with artist Leeroy New in his groundbreaking collection for this season’s Philippine Fashion Week. Using new technology, select pieces feature the use of rubber as a secondary morphing skin, bedecked with resistive silhouettes. Other materials used include plastic, auto leather, nylon, rayon, thin metal sheets and chiffon.
Overall, the collection is a revolutionary view of Tesoro and New’s genetic and sci-fi influences, with each piece exuding that clinical and anatomical feel. The result is a pioneering repertoire of fashionable pieces that redefine style and progressiveness.
More photos of the collection after the jump.
